Mental Models

This is a biography about Charlie Munger, Warren Buffet's longtime business partner and vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway. I felt like this book was extremely sporadic and lacked a proper flow. There were a couple of stories in the book that I had not discovered yet, but for the most part one can find the details of Charlie Munger's life in his autobiography, "Poor Charlie's Almanack". One area where I thought the author did well was explaining the various investments and holdings of Berkshire Hathaway throughout time. By the end of the book, it was apparent that the author was not given much time with Charlie Munger nor Warren Buffet when compiling these stories. It was more an amalgamation of public records and public stories that have already been written or told. If one has interest in finding out more how Munger has become so successful, I highly recommend "Poor Charlie's Almanack"
